Stacey tells a delightful story about a young girl who she had a brief interaction with a few years ago.

It was when the girl turned around and blew a kiss…..

The unexpected delight. This girl turned an ordinary meeting into a meaningful and memorable interaction that changed Stacey’s thinking, how Stacey was feeling in that moment, and influenced Stacey’s behavior.

As professionals. we are always marketing of selling. We’re selling programs, services, products, ideas. We have to be in order to keep our business growing.
If we (especially today) do not know how to do that courageously, clearly, and in a caring and connected way, then, we won’t have the results that we want.

We don’t connect with data and facts – we connect with our heart. Caring (think of the girl’s kiss) can show up as active listening vs. problem-solving it shows you care. It can show up in your stories that tell others “Hey, I get it. I’ve been there and I understand…. here’s how I’m going to help you get through it”.  Build trust.

Heart-centered entrepreneurs (HCE) really do need to show up courageously, clear in their communication, and caring in actions…. They need to recognize and address the fear of being seen – Often, they’re not showing up as authentically or courageously as they could. So they end up sounding and looking like everybody else.

They’re not as clear in their communications.

They’re so excited about all the things, that the message gets distilled. We must be concise and clear in our messaging. There’s caring…..but what is missing is the consistent follow-up. Often the HCE has a fear of showing up – of bothering people. Staying in touch can make a huge difference in your brand…in being able to cut through the noise and be able to engage people. Constant and consistent staying in touch with people – just checking in as follow up – can make a big difference in your brand – being able to cut through the noise and engage people…You become top of mind – memorable – it’s your kiss.

Systems will help you keep consistent with checking in with your contacts. This can lead to conversions. Find the ways that work for you to keep showing up.
